Lucy C. Basta, 62, of Bee died suddenly at her home on Jan. 12, 1960. She was born near Bruno and lived in the Bee area most of her life. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wood Bros. Chapel in Seward, with Rev. John Prachar of Bee officiating. Burial will be in Seward Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; four sisters, Mrs. Adolph Coufal of Gresham, Mrs. Louis Coufal of Ulysses, Miss Alma Vavra of Norfolk and Miss Sophia Vavra of Beatrice; two brothers, Frank of Rising City and Edward Vavra of Burlington, Colo. Seward County Independent, Seward, NE, Wed, Jan 13, 1960
