--He was a son of Lewis Livingston and wife Nancy J. Croft. The family lived in Etowah County, AL in 1900 and 1910. --Jim married Esther Lee Mooney. They had 7 identified children, names listed in wife's memorial. They lived in Etowah County, AL in 1920, in Chattanooga, TN in 1930 and 1935 and in Gadsden, AL in 1940, later moving to Charlotte, NC. --Occupation: Textile worker in 1920, 1930, and 1940. He later worked at Charlotte Aircraft, from which he retired.
