Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Vlasta Docekal Wentrcek, 70, of Taylor were held Monday at 2 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Taylor with Pastor Walker officiating. Burial was in the Taylor City Cemetery. Mrs. Wentrcek passed away Saturday at St. David's Hospital in Austin. Born in La Grange, February 4, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Votny) Docekal. She was united in marriage with John A. Wentrcek at Taylor in November 1930. Surviving are her husband of Taylor; one daughter and son-in-law La Verne and Gene Rydell of Georgetown; two sisters, Mrs. John C. (Rose) Marburger and Mrs. Edith Struve, both of La Grange; two brothers, Lad Docekal and Milam Docekal, both of La Grange; three grandsons and one great grandchild.
