FRANKLIN — William Perry “Bill” Slocum, 85, of Franklin died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Franklin. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Church of Christ in Franklin. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery near Franklin. Hutchins Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of the arrangements. He was born March 17, 1933, in Holdrege to Perry and Mabel Slocum. On Oct. 28, 1956, he married Madelon E. Fruhling in Franklin. She preceded him in death. Survivors include his sons, Kevin Slocum and Edwin Slocum, both of Franklin; daughter, Amy Jo Walton of Franklin; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
