Joseph M. Hotovy, 84, of Dwight, died Tuesday, November 27 at his residence of natural causes. Joseph Hotovy was born December 31, 1933 at Dwight, Nebraska to Frank and Agnes (Sypal) Hotovy. He went to work at the Burlington Northern Shops in Lincoln as a shop mechanic, working there until he retired. In his younger years, Joe enjoyed racing cars and spending time on his acreage. He attended the David City Senior Center to socialize and enjoy a good meal. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Genevieve Hotovy and Margaret Stevens.
