Bio

Grand Island (Nebraska) Herald; Thursday 21 June 1928, page 5 The death of Mrs. Anna Polan [sic] a resident of Ord, Neb., occurred at the St. Francis hospital, this city, at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, of diabetes. Mrs. Polan was brought here ten days prior to her death. She was born in Bohemia on July 19, 1861, and was 66 years, 10 months and 28 days of age. Five daughters and one son survive, as does also a sister, residing in Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband who died twenty-six years ago. The body was taken to Ord where funeral services were held Monday morning from the Catholic church.
