Bio

Henry Blackketter and Nancy Duncan were married Sept. 8, 1866, in Brown Co., Indiana. The Evening Republican Columbus, Indiana Tuesday, March 30, 1909 Henry S. Blacketter, an aged and respected retired farmer, died Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home, 725 Chestnut street, aged seventy-four years. The funeral will be held Thursday, but the exact hour will be announced later. For many years Mr. Blacketter was a farmer In this county, but retired a few years ago and moved to this city, where he spent the rest of his life. Wednesday, March 31, 1909 Funeral services over the remains of the late Henry S. Blacketter will be conducted from the late home at 725 Chestnut street by Rev. Book at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The casket will be open from 9 to 11 o'clock tomorrow morning. Burial in the Section cemetery.
