Name spelled as Emeline and Emaline ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Married Daniel Coody on July 18, 1848 in Winston, Mississippi and had 4 children before he died. Daniel died in Mississippi between 1855 - 1859. Children of Emeline and Daniel William Coody (all born in Mississippi): Mary Ann Coody Roxanna Coody William Durham Coody Adaline "Tuss" Coody ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emeline moved to Arkansas in 1860 and met Benjamin Franklin Smith there. They married July 9, 1865 either in Arkansas or Collin, Texas. There are conflicts on where it actually took place and most of their descendants are assuming Collin, Texas. Emeline and Benjamin had 6 children. Their youngest is my great-grandfather.
