Carol Goodwin (195091489) Suggested edit: Carol D. Goodwin, 60, of Clinton, passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, with her dog, Bridget, by her side. Carol was born in Dallas on July 10, 1949, the daughter of Nellie and Clyde Goodwin. She attended H. Grady Spruce High School and also attended business college. She was employed for more than 30 years by The Bank of America in Dallas, and was currently employed as an administrative assistant by Central Maine Power Company. Carol moved to Maine in October of 2007 to be with her true love, Richard. She enjoyed taking long rides with Richard and their dog, Bridget. Her dream was to buy a motor home and tour the country with them. Carol loved nature and animals. She liked to spend time admiring the birds that came to visit in the backyard. She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and enjoyed volunteering her time there. Carol was a wonderful cook. Carol was a very warm and giving person who enjoyed taking care of others. She took care of her dad after her mother passed and saw him through to the end of his life. Carol's smile, her sense of humor, and her laugh will always be with us. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Clyde Goodwin.
