Eleanor Agnes "Ella" Matus, 72, passed away Feb. 18, 1992 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born June 21, 1919 in Bomarton, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Motl. She married John Matus Jr. on Feb. 7, 1939.They were the parents of 4 children. She is survived by her husband, John of the home; one daughter Patricia Matus of Thalia, Texas; 2 sons Johnny Joe Matus of Vernon and Mike Matus of Rayland; 3 brothers Raymond Motl, Jerome Motl and Bob Motl, all of Seymour; 2 sisters Olga Hostas and Josie Peters, both of Seymour and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Jerome Matus in 1987, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
