Shirlee Faye Jones. Born March 30, 1931 passed away, August 15th 2007 in Peoria, AZ in a Hospice of Arizona Facility. Survivors: her sister, Linda Jones; daughter, Sheryl Borek and partner Leon Sava; son Christopher De Winter and partner Burt Tanoue; son Ronald Jones. Granddaughter Brooksanne Borek and partner Michael Strickett Great grandson Valinor David Strickett Shirlee was native to Arizona and a single parent of 3 during the 1970s. In her lifetime she was a mother, homemaker and had many careers, beginning in the clerical and managerial field, selling advertising, a merchandising rep for Colgate Palmolive and at one point she owned and operated “The Attic”, an antique and second hand store at 19th Ave and Indian School, in Phoenix. A few months before her passing, she delivered The Capital Times News. Our Beloved Mother and Grandmother will “forever” remain in our fondest memories. “we Love you mom”. A remembrance memorial will be held at The Casa Del Sol East Clubhouse on Saturday Sept 15th at 11:00am.
