Bio

Margie Ann Keeshan, daughter of John and Rose (Speigel) Fritzges was born July 6, 1929 on the family farm near St. Edward. She attended Boone County School District #10 and then graduated from St. Edward High School in 1946. Following her schooling Margie worked as a housekeeper. On May 16, 1951 Margie was united in marriage to Roy Keeshan at the Zion Lutheran Church in Albion, NE. The couple lived their whole lives in St. Edward where Margie worked as a nurse's aide at Cloverlodge Care Center, a cook at St. Edward Public School, and again as a housekeeper at the nursing home. She also helped a couple of elderly ladies with housework and errands. Margie was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Edward, NE. She enjoyed taking care of her home, cooking, and loved to cook and entertain guests.
