Rick Motsenbocker March 08, 1951 - October 29, 2018 Rick Motsenbocker age 67 of Wellington died Monday, October 29, 2018. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at North Fairview Cemetery with Larry Haddock, minister of the First Christian Church officiating. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. He was born on March 8, 1951 in Wellington, to Charlie and Loreen Johnson Motsenbocker. He married Sandra Sullivan on August 29, 1975 at Quail. Rick graduated from Wellington High School in 1969 and attended Clarendon College. He began his career in heating and refrigeration with his stepdad R. H. Hill at the young age of 13 at the Wellington Ice Plant and became his partner in R.H. Hill’s Heating and Refrigeration in 1976. After R.H.’s retirement he partnered with Redgie Souder to form R & R Electric and A/C Service in March 1, 1985 until Rick semi-retired in 2016. He continued to operate Rick’s Heating and A/C Repair until his death. Rick served in The Texas National Guard 4 years and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. He loved to restore old cars, attend car shows and swap meets. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Charlesreen Bolton. Rick is survived by his wife Sandra of Wellington; a daughter Michelle Smith and her husband Jesse of Lubbock and his sister Sharon Macalik and her husband Gerald of Wellington.
