Bio

James's parents were: Margaret Ann(Byars)and William Mansfield Garrett. He married Constancia Elizabeth Williams on 12 Dec. 1894 in DeWitt Co.,Texas. They had four children together. She died giving birth in 1906. He married Mae Elizabeth Dubose in 1909 in Texas. Family story: He smoked cigarettes, a pipe and chewed tobacco. He had all of his teeth when he died.
