Services for Emma Sarah Chamblee, 88, of Mineola are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Brother Steve Glosup officiating. Emma passed away September 23, 2017 in Quitman, Texas. She was born July 31, 1929 in Tyler, TX to Walter Kelly and Allie Mae Stevenson. Emma grew up in Tyler and attended Tyler High School. She married Roland Chamblee January 29, 1949 and the two lived in the Tyler/Lindale area before retiring to Mineola. Emma loved cooking, entertaining and shopping. She was a member of First Baptist of Mineola for several years. She is survived by her Son, Mark & Sharon Chamblee; Granddaughter, Heather Corson; Grandson, Chris Chamblee; Great Grandchildren: Colby, Baylee and Spencer; Niece, Emma Smith; and Nephew, Jason Kelly. Emma is preceded in death by her Parents, Walter & Allie Kelly; Husband, Roland Chamblee; Sister, Louise Lewis; and Brother, Don Kelly. Family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Old Bethel Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Old Bethel Cemetery 3501 VZCR 2304 Canton, TX 75103, which was damaged by the tornado in April.
