HAZEL LEISTIKO Hazel Leistiko of Blue Springs,MO, passed away March 29, 2005, at St Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs.Funeral services will be 2 p.m.Thursday, March 31, at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville,MO, with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Visitation will be from 1 -2 p.m.Thursday, March 31, at the funeral home. Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Hazel was born October 30 1918 to Sunshine and Raymond Jolliffe. She spent most of her childhood years growing up in Keytesville, MO. She loved working in the garden. Hazel spent hours working with her house plants and nursing the families plants back to life. She sewed and crocheted beautifully despite her debilitating arthritis. Hazel was a kind hearted woman who loved the Lord and chose to see the better in people than the worse. She will be missed by all those who were fortunate to know her. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands,Tony Cimino and Walter Leistiko, three brothers, Tom, Dempsey and Raymond Jolliffe, and two sisters, Ruth Prewitt and Arletia Hayes. She is survived by her brother, Charles Joliffe, Salisbury, MO, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
