Robert L. Taylor, 78 of Canyon Lake, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born to Leroy Taylor and Emma Barber Taylor in Whitesboro, Texas on July 1, 1940. He is survived by his wife Donna Cowart; children, Amber Louise Grisso and husband Brian; Tammy Lynn Taylor; Jacob Edward Mahan; Joe Edward Mahan and wife Amy; and Liz Garnet Cortez and husband Fernando; grandchildren, Sophia Louise Grisso, Gavin Lynn Grisso, Taylor Skye Cortez, Samantha Lee Cortez, Aiden Creek Neel, and Hudson Alan Neel; sister, Dolorse Jan Taylor; brothers, Roy Wayne Taylor, Richard Jim Taylor and Barry Lee Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Emma Taylor. Public Visitation will begin 10:00 AM at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until service time. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Zoeller Funeral Home with Reverend Larry King officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to: The American Cancer Society.
