Stecher, 42, familiarly known as Denny Stecher, a cousin of Joe Stecher, the wrestler, and himself a well known boxer and wrestler , died at a hospital in Lincoln yesterday. The body was brought to Fremont and funeral services will be held at Salem Lutheran church on Saturday afternoon. Stecher for a few years served as a member of the Fremont police force . Rev.George P. Kabele having charge. A mix quartet sang and there was a profusion of flowers. Burial was at the Prospect Hill cemetery near Waterloo where Mrs. Stecher and their daughter are at rest.
