Elaine F. Demuth of Columbus died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Columbus Community Hospital. Elaine F. Demuth was born June 17, 1944 in David City, NE to Ludvik and Mary (Bohaty) Jisa. She grew up in Garrison, NE and graduated from David City High School in 1962. She was united in marriage to John Demuth on June 12, 1965 at St. Marys Catholic Church in David City. Elaine has lived in Columbus since June 1965, and worked at Dale Electronics, Douglas and Lomason and her greatest career was as an in-home daycare provider for 40 plus years, taking care of over 100 children. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Ladies of the Lord. She is survived by: Husband: John J. Demuth, Columbus, NE Daughter: Michelle M.
