Wayne Verbon Murdock February 3, 1927 - March 12, 2016 Obituary for Wayne Verbon Murdock Wayne Verbon Murdock was born on February 3, 1927 in Simms, Texas and passed away on March 12, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by father, Verbon T. Murdock; mother, Effie M. Dubberley-Murdock; sister, Gail Jean Murdock. Survived by wife, Glenda Eileen Shafer-Murdock; son; daughter; granddaughter; grandson; and great-grandsons. Wayne worked for TI as Probacity, Realibility, and Stastical Engineer. He served his county in WWII as a radio operation on Submarine USS Batfish and in Korean War as USMC. Attended and was a graduate at James Bowie High School in Simms, Texas. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 6- 8 PM at Restland Funeral Home Dallas, Texas.
