Tech SGT(Ret) Thomas R. McCraine January 31, 1934- July 30, 2016 Eufaula, AL- Tech SGT(Ret) Thomas R. McCraine, 82, of Eufaula, AL passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at his home. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm EST Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gerald Caryl-Gordon officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 12-1 EST prior to the service on Tuesday at Vance Memorial Chapel. Mr. McCraine was born January 31, 1934 in Henry County, AL to the late George W. McCraine and Willie Bessie Bryan McCraine. He proudly served and retired from the US Air Force. After his military service he worked for the City of Austin, TX before retiring there also. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Geneva McCraine, a brother, Charles McCraine and sister, Ella McCraine. He is survived by his two children, three brothers and three sisters, three sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family members and many caring friends.
