Bio

William is a brother to James Milburn (144041436 ) and married Caroline S. Houghton in Trempealeau, Wisconsin on Nov 13, 1865. They moved to Custer County around 1885 with James and Sarah Milburn (William's brother and sister-in-law). William and Caroline had three daughters - Georgia, Mary Melinda, and Ellen Louise. Mary was the only one to stay in the Trempealeau, Wisconsin area. Milburn, Nebraska is named for James Milburn as he and Sarah started the post office there.
