Mr. William "Bill" E. Adams passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in Tyler. He was born November 23, 1938 in Longview to Jack and Mary Adams. Bill was a member of County Line Baptist Church. He graduated from Longview High School in 1957. He held the position of Pastor for the Gardner Fellowship Church in Gardner, Colorado. He was also an agent in the insurance industry. He served nine years in the Texas Army National Guard. Services for William "Bill" E. Adams, 79, of Bullard, will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at the Loftin Cemetery in Teaselville, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Bill was preceded in death by his mother Mary Adams; father, Jack Adams; sister, Virginia Adams and brother, Larry Joe Adams. He is survived by his loving family including his wife, Joan Adams; daughters, Pamela Merriman, Teresa Adams-Wilks, Kimbrely Myers, Hollie Nixon and Lisa Spencer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his brother, Ronald Dean Adams.
