January 12, 1954 - September 26, 2018 Obituary for Doyal A. Darter RICHLAND HILLS - Doyal Alton Darter, 64, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doyle's honor to SVBC Youth or the American Heart Association. Doyal proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier, USS Forrestal, from 1974 to 1977. He retired from the City of Fort Worth after serving over 21 years. He was an active member of Spring Valley Baptist Church for 35 years. Doyal is preceded in death by his father, Doyal "Bill" Darter; sisters, Billie Jean Cagle, Helen Lowry, and Linda Myers; and brother, Kenneth Darter. Survivors: His wife of 40 years, Debbie; daughter, Alisha and husband, Frankie Flores; grandsons, Will, Caleb and Nathan; granddaughter, Zoe; daughter, Heather and husband, Boston Meredith; grandsons, Haden and Hunter; daughter, Amanda and significant other, Chris Rush; granddaughter, Christyana; mother, Zadiella Darter; brother, Dan and wife, Geretha Darter; and a host of nieces, nephews, as well as many other friends and family.
