Bobby Lou Embree, 47 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 21, 2018 at his home. Bobby was born March 17, 1971 at Moberly, Missouri, son of Bobby Louis Embree and Patricia Rae (Garrison) Embree. He was raised at Bates City, and attended school in Odessa. He had resided in Johnson County for the past fifteen years. Bobby was an avid Chiefs fan. He also enjoyed weight lifting and video gaming and watching WWE. Survivors include his Mother: Pat McCormick of Warrensburg; son: James Fields of Pleasant Hill, MO; sister: Deanna Embree of Warrensburg; brother: Vernon Embree of Ozark, MO; four step children: D. J. Phillips of Georgia; Johnnie Vanderpool of Harrisonville, MO; Jessie Brawley of Harrisonville, MO and Tammy Baney of Harrisonville; six grandchildren: Aurora Phillips, Brayton Brawley, Jace Vanderpool, Jayden Vanderpool, Aubry Baney and Zita Baney; Nieces: Kelsee Embree, Kaylee Framer and Trisha Embree; nephews: Corey Embree, Colbey Embree and Jordan Embree; great nieces: Nola Embree, Lola Embree and Emilyn Framer; and great nephews: Preston Embree and Klaus Pitts and his wife, Twyla Embree. Bobby was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents: Elizabeth Helen and Gene William Garrison; and paternal grandparents: Margaret Lucille and Vernie Embree. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29th at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Howard Carter, Associate Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Columbus Christian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gene Burch, Billy Pitts, Johnnie Vanderpool, Landon Baney, Charles Craig and Ryan Brawley. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
