Bio
Elma H. Stone, 97, of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday (June 13, 2018) at the Central Montana Medical Center in Lewistown. She was born July 26, 1920 in Comstock, Nebraska to Frank and Kamila (Cernik) Hruby, the oldest of 6 children. She attended rural grade school there and later Ord, NE High School. On September 30, 1938 she married Robert W. Stone. They moved to California where Robert worked as a logger for a time. Then they moved to Judith Gap, MT where they ranched for many years before moving to Lewistown in 1958, where Robert was a Cattle buyer up until his death in 1978. She was very active in the United Methodist Church and had served as past Worthy Matron of the Marie Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #36, 1986-1987. She enjoyed baking, decorating cakes and mints and also loved her garden and flowers. She is survived by her son and her daughter, a grandson and his two children, a granddaughter and her three children, three brothers, and 2 sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert and a brother Robert. Complete obituary at Cloyd Funeral Home
