Funeral services for Pete Corley (born: Charles Coleman) will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Warren Meadows Chapel with Rev. Richard Hooton, Rev. Dee Ann Johnson, and Rev. John Lewing officiating. Burial will follow in Bethsadia Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 18, from 6 O’clock until 10 O’clock PM and Wednesday, September 19, from 12 O’clock noon to 10 O’clock PM. Pete Corley was born on Tuesday, January 2, 1951 in Zwolle, Louisiana to Johnny William and Alice Bass Corley. He passed away on September 15, 2018 at the age of 67 at his home surrounded by his family. Pete was an avid hunter and fisherman as he often did with his two sons, his grandsons, his father n law Willie Moore and friends. Other hobbies were gun collecting of old Winchester rifles and Colt firearms. He was a member of Bayou Scie Methodist Church, of Zwolle, Louisiana. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Alice Corley and his wife’s parents: Willie (his fishing buddy) and Mary Moore of Zwolle, LA. Also, a brother Perry Green of Florida. He is survived by his spouse: Amy Corley, Zwolle, LA., Sons, Brad and wife Darla Corley, of Many, La., Adam and wife Lindsay Corley, of Florien, La., and three grandchildren, Cade, and Matthew Corley of Dallas, TX., and Katie Corley of Florien, La. A brother John Edward (Ed) Corley of Florien, La. Host of nieces, nephews, and extended family Pallbearers: Jerry Lynn Garcie, Channon Ingles, David “Bean” Brown, Coleman Brown, Daniel Lowery, and Gerald Moore. Honorary Pallbearers: Clintt Corley, Chris Birdwell, and Anthony Pleasant. ∼ Pete Corley was born Charles Coleman Corley, always known as Pete to Johnny William Corley and Alice Bass. Married to Amy Verda Lanell Moore and has two sons, Bradley Coleman Corley, & Adam Teryl Corley, two grandsons Cade Coleman Corley & Matthew Chase Corley, one grandaughter Katie Claire Corley
