Lionel Gene Hinson, 71, of Groves, Texas passed Friday, September 7, 2018 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. Lionel was born October 11, 1946 in Port Arthur, Texas to Cecil Hinson and Verlea Bailey Hinson. He was a lifelong area resident and member of First Baptist Church of Groves. Lionel retired from Huntsman as an equipment operator after 35 years of service. Survivors include his two sons, Lionel Gene Hinson II and wife Belinda and Christopher Trey Hinson and wife Araceli; sister, Weida Philpott and husband Eddie; three grandchildren andd two great-grandchildren. Burial: Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas Levingston Funeral Home, Groves, Texas
