OBIT: PIONEER RESIDENT EMHOUSE COMMUNITY DIED EARLY MONDAY R. E. Richards, aged 72 years, long time resident of Emhouse community, died at his home east of Emhouse Monday morning at 11 o'clock and the funeral will be held from the Baptist church in Emhouse Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in the Pattison cemetery. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J. F. Stanlee. Mr. Richards' wife died Feb. 26, 1930. Surviving are five sons, F. W. Richards, Corsicana R. 2; A. C. Richards, Emhouse; D. O. Richards, Emhouse; J. G. Richards, Penelope; J. D. Richards, Corbett; four daughters, Mrs. J. C. Gibson, Blue Grove; Mrs. G.M. Wilson, Corsicana, R. 6; Mrs. G. E. Collins, Emhouse, and Mrs. H. R. Smith, Emhouse, and other relatives. The funeral will be directed by the Corley-McMahon Funeral Home. Corsicana Daily Sun - Monday, Nov 3, 1930
