Robert Neil Carlisle, 52, died Oct 20, 1985 in Salt Lake City of heart failure. Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct 24, 1985 at the Alpine Fifth LDS Ward Chapel. Interment was under the direction of Anderson and Sons mortuary, American Fork, Utah, with burial in the Alpine City Cemetery. He was born Dec 25, 1932 in Alpine, Utah to Alton Richard "Scott" and Lila Beryl Bair Carlisle. He married Lou Cille Turner on June 29, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He attended Alpine Elementary School and graduated from American Fork High School in 1951. He was self-employed for 30 years at Carlisle and Ewell Heating in American Fork. He was a member of the LDS Church and served in various positions. He created the Carlisle Ranch in Freedom, Wyo., a place where people could come and enjoy nature. In just three years over 3000 people have visited the Carlisle Ranch. He is survived by his wife, Lou Cille, Alpine; mother Lila Beryl Bair Carlisle, Alpine; four sons and two daughters; Robert J. Carlisle, American Fork, Utah, Scott L. Carlisle, Ted Neil Carlisle, Jack Carlisle, Mrs Kerby C. (Cindy) Jensen, Cathy Carlisle, all of Alpine, five grandchildren, one brother and two sisters, Dennis Carlisle, Mrs Ross L. (Joanne) Beck both of Alpine and Mrs Jerry (Lorraine) Dyer, Farmington.
