Bio
Bobbie Loye Green Weir Stepp was born to Robert Fort Green and Ada Faye Jeffreys Green in Calvert, Tx on June 24, 1943. She shared her life with her two sisters, Virginia Faye Marley and Marjorie Evelyn Henson, and her brother Joe Edward Green (deceased). She graduated from Calvert High School, attended Nelson’s Beauty College and had a successful career as a hairdresser for over 45 years. She married the love of her life, Luther Alton Weir and together had three children. Through her year long battle with cancer, her faith in God gave her strength to live her life to the fullest with no complaints of pain or fear. God sent his angels to bring her home on November 14, 2017. She is rejoicing her homecoming with her family and friends that have set a place for her alongside her Savior. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday November 18, 2017 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie with Chris Dunn officiating. A Celebration Gathering will follow at 4:00 at the downtown Bowie Community Room, 307 N. Mason St. Bowie, TX 76230.
