Bio

Funeral services for Anton Sassin, 71-year-old retired farmer who died here at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Mogonye, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Condra Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank D. Svoboda officiating. Burial was in the Taylor City Cemetery. Sassin, a native of Europe, had been a resident of the Taylor area since he was nine years old. He is survived by his daughter; a son, Tom A. Sassin of Taylor; four sisters, Mrs. Anne Michna of Taylor, Mrs. Frank Danek of Ennis, Mrs. Frank Strmiski and Mrs. Cecelia Srovnak of Robstown.
