She was cremated, some of her ashes were sprinkled on her father's grave. ( Wishes of Bernice's children.) What has become of the remaining ashes is not known at this time. Her cremation took place at Cripplin Funeral Home, in Colorado.

She is the daughter of Jimmy & Glenna Spencer. (Jimmy Spencer is deceased). Her siblings are Leroy, (deceased) Teresa, Eral & Jeri Spencer. She lived in Montrose, Colorado at the time of her death.
