Bio

Kathy Stradley, age 69, died Aug. 29, 2018, at Mory's Haven in Columbus. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept.1 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Kathy Stradley was born March 4, 1949, in Lincoln to Frank and Jessie (Beasley) Stradley. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1967. She then received her degree from UNK and later received her master's degree from UNO. She worked at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha until retiring with health issues from multiple sclerosis. She enjoyed flowers and visiting with friends. Kathy is survived by brother Virgil (Mary) Stradley of Columbus, nephew Sean (Carol) Stradley of Lincoln, niece Erica (Matt) Schmidt of Charlotte, North Carolina; great niece Leona Stradley of Lincoln, great nieces Anna, Alethia and Sophia Schmidt of Charlotte, North Carolina; and great nephew Isaiah Schmidt of Charlotte, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents.
