Katherine Ann “Kathy” Doyle Devey 1945 - 2018 Early Life: Katherine "Kathy" was born March 15, 1945, in Lehi, Utah, to John William and Martha Alta Street Doyle, the sixth of eight children. She had five older brothers: Jack (Doreen), Don (Carol), Dee, Robert (Verlyn), Paul (Maryann); and two younger sisters: Karren (Dale) Mitchell and Loraine (John) Worthen. She graduated from Lehi High School. Life’s Work | Service | Interests: Kathy attended Continental College of Beauty, where she learned her profession. She loved doing hair, but she loved her clients more. Kathy also worked at Sego Lily Elementary as a lunchroom manager for 20 years. She adored the kids she worked with. The pride of Kathy's life was her family. She married her sweetheart Larry on November 6, 1964. She always said she married him because he was a fun gentleman with a cool car. They began their family a few years later with the addition of Scott, then came Dirk, Kristy and Mindy. Kathy loved her family, they were everything to her. She dedicated her life to them and would do anything to protect them. Next to her family was the love of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kathy was a woman of service and was always looking for opportunities to minister to those around her. She was still serving others up until her last breath. Katherine Ann "Kathy" Doyle Devey passed away peacefully August 28, 2018, surrounded by family. Survived By: Her husband, Larry; her son, Dirk Devey; her two daughters: Kristy (Marty) Bahr and Mindy (Jessie) Oyler; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Scott). She was blessed with 10 grandchildren who adore their grandma. Preceded In Death By: Her her firstborn son, Scott; her mother, father and grandson, Riley Bahr.
