Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Oct. 30, 1986 Funeral services for Emma F. Hattenbach, who died in Boerne on Saturday, were held on Monday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. at Finch Chapel. The Rev.Winston Coones officiated, with interment in the Nixon cemetery. Mrs. Hattenbach was born on June 30, 1891 in Jackson county, to Richard A. and Leota Moore Flournoy. She was married to Ira Caraway, who preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1944, and to Walter Milton Hattenbach, on Dec. 28, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1977. She was a member of the First Baptist church in Nixon and the Order of the Eastern Star. Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
