Husband Jimmie Deloss Farber Elsie Schumacher Farber, 91 of Vernon, Texas died on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in Vernon, Texas. Mass funeral services will be Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 am at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church with Father Phil Petta officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Elsie was born Saturday, September 25, 1926 in Rhineland, Texas; she was the daughter of the late August Schumacher and the late Louisa Herring Schumacher. She married Jimmie D. Farber on August 7, 1947 in Ft. Worth, Texas he preceded her in death on May 29, 2003. She was a resident of Vernon since 1972. She was a teacher's aide for Vernon ISD for 21 years. She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church. Elsie is survived by her daughter, Anne Spears and husband Guy of Vernon, TX; three grandchildren Ellie, Julia and Colin. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park, Vernon, TX. Memorials can be made to Dr. & Mrs. Jimmie D.
