Wife of COL Ernest Regner US Army Leeodra (Lee) Butler Regner joined our Lord Monday, August 27, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born January 5, 1928 in De Ridder, Louisiana to Willis and Hazel Butler and was the seventh of nine children. Lee graduated High School at age 16 and worked at the first onsite USO in the U.S. From there she went to work for the Social Security Administration in Beaumont, TX where she met and married Jules Carson Castile. Lee then was transferred to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio to work for the Civil Service Administration. She transferred to Camp Stanley where she completed 36 years of her Civil Service career. Soon after retiring, she obtained her Realtor's license and spent the next 24 years as a Realtor. She was an avid Spurs fan and rarely missed a game. Her children and grandchildren, were the most important aspects of her life. Lee was a dear sister, a dear aunt and a dear friend. She had a kind and generous nature and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is preceded in death by her parents, by 7 of her older brothers and sisters, and both of her husbands, J.C. Castile and Ernest Regner. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, reat grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sisters, other relatives and many friends.
