Bio
Ernest M. King Ernest M. King, 64, of Route 2, Belton, died Monday morning in a Temple hospital. Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton. Graveside services will be held at 11:45 a.m. in the Taylor City Cemetery. Dr. A. A. Hayden and Bishop E. R. King, Jr., will officiate. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elsie E. King of Belton; five daughters, Mrs. Doris Floyd and Mrs. Lucille Washburn of Belton, Mrs. Geraldine (Kitty) Davis of Pflugerville, Mrs. Bonnie Smith of Killeen, and Mrs. and Mrs. Juanita Weir of Temple; a son, Allan (Sonny) King of Austin; five sisters, Mrs. Ollis Robinson of Robinson, Mrs. Mary Lee Gibbs and Mrs. Effie Casper of Youngsport, Mrs. Irene Montgomery of Alto, and Mrs. Iva Dittrich of Jollyville; two brothers, Elmer King of Belton and Homer King of Youngsport; 11 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association or the Lung Association.
