William Franklin Stendebach, beloved husband, father, Granddaddy & brother passed away August 7, 2018. He was born April 2, 1936 in Camp Wood, TX, the son of Frank Oscar & Margaret Whatley Stendebach. An insurance agent in Duncanville for over 38 years, he represented Employers and Farmers Insurance and retired in 2007. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Duncanville and served the church as a Deacon. He also served in the Kiwanis Club, but his primary focus was his family, his faith and his work. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sandra Moody Stendebach; son, Keith Stendebach & wife, Wendy; daughter, Amy Weir & husband, Joe; grandchildren, Rhett, Katie, Preston & Bergen; sisters, Pat Alexander & Eloise Lindemann. Funeral Service is 11:00 AM, Sat. Aug 11, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Duncanville. Burial will follow at Little Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM, one hour prior to the service.
