The Deseret News March 22, 2002 page E4 Ella Anderson Bowen Tripp, 94, our loving mother and grandmother, passed away March 19, 2002. She was born Feb. 28, 1908 in Manti, Utah to George Richard and Nellie Denison Anderson. She married Earl Abner Bowen on Nov. 9, 1928. He preceded her in death. Ella married Lowell W. Tripp on July 24, 1954. He also preceded her in death. Mother was a wonderful example for her family. She was a meticulous housekeeper and excellent cook. Her home was always neat and orderly and was a source of pride for her. She loved to grow and nourish beautiful flowers. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to tat. Grandma was a hard worker and was happiest when she was busy cleaning or gardening. She never left home unless she looked her best. Ella loved her family, especially the little great grandchildren. Survivors: daughters, Shirley Holt (Ray), Riverton; Earlene Larson (Floyd), Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; one grandson and two great grandsons; three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2002, at 1 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State where friends and family may call Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to time of services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
