Lindale - Funeral services for Archie H. Wheat, 80, of 1329 E. Richards, Tyler, are set at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Caudle Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Featherston officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery near here. Mr. Wheat died Monday night in a Tyler hospital after an extended illness. He had resided in this area since 1902, was a retired farmer. He is survived by a brother, J. F. Wheat of Paradise, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Waters, Mrs. Liddie Wilson, both of Tyler, Mrs. Lorene Gruin of De Soto; and Mrs. Ella Mae Edwards of Paradise, Calif.
