Obituary for Billy Moore A memorial service for Billy Dean Moore, 84, of Whitehouse, TX will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00am at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Sledge Thomas Jr. officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 - 11:00am one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Billy Was born February 14, 1934 in Navarro County and departed this life on July 21, 2018. He graduated from Bynum High School in 1951. After high school Billy served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He was the owner/operator of B&T Commercial Vans in Farmers Branch for fifty years before retiring and moving to Whitehouse in 2008 to be near his daughter and grandchildren. He loved watching various sports and programs the grandchildren participated in. Billy is preceded in death by his parents Sadie and James Moore. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sondra Calhoun Moore; daughter Melanie Moore, Whitehouse, TX and grandchildren, Sheridan Smith of Dallas, TX; Shelby of Austin, TX and Macy Smith of Whitehouse, TX.
