Jerry "Jero" Edwin Fuller, 69, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018, in Ennis, Texas. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Jero was born in Rice, Texas, to the late Charles Edwin and Katy Ruth (Atkins) Fuller. He and his family lived in Bardwell for a year then moved to Oak Grove for two years and then to Ennis in 1955. He graduated from Ennis High School in 1968 and went on to attend Navarro Junior College. On June 10, 1995, he married Linda Marie Laznovsky and they made their home in Ennis. He worked for Western Southern Life Insurance Company, Sherwin and Williams Company and Main Street Hardware where he retired. Jero and Ken Holley formed the Westernaires Band and they played together for around 15 years. He was also a member of the Sage Brush Band, County Seat Band, Sulak Brothers Polka Band, Torchy McCluney and the Country Tops Band, and Jero and Friends Band. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and KJZT, SPJST, Sokol, KC, Kiwanis Club, and Ennis Jaycees. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Fuller and Charles Fuller; and sisters: Barbara Wilson, Melva Jean Holland and Dottie Hooper. Survivors include his wife of over 23 years, Linda Fuller; brother-in-law, James Wilson; sister-in-law, Margie Hamilton and her husband, Stuart; special cousins, Doris Annet and Susan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
