Bio

Helen Tiemann Dagerath, 92, Taylor, died Sunday, March 11, 1990, in Johns Community Hospital. Mrs. Dagerath was born Oct. 8, 1897 in Old Washington, the daughter of Carl and Elizabeth (Ahlers) Jahn. She had been a resident of Taylor for the past 50 years and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Her husband, Edward William Tiemann, preceded her in death in 1960. A son, four sisters, and four brothers also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Condra Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Letalien officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Douglas Walser, Homer Rutledge, Randy Trayler, Gary Shelton, Paul Vyvjala, and Larry Tiemann. Survivors include three sons and their wives, Vernon and Lillie Tiemann of Taylor, Raymond and Irene Tiemann of Houston, Leroy and Toots Tiemann of Thorndale; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
