Harry C. Robertson, 78 July 18, 2018 at 5:00 am | Harry C. Robertson, 78, passed away in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Friday, July 6, 2018. Harry was born in Monroe, Wash., on June 17, 1940, the son of Henry and Margaret Robertson. As a child he moved to Benton, Wash., where the family had a peach farm. The family moved to Gold Creek in 1950 and he would attend school at the Gold Creek School, the Northside School and Sandpoint High School. He worked in the local sawmills Hedlunds, Georgia Pacific and Louisiana Pacific; retiring as a kiln operator. Harry had a strong work ethic and was proud of the product he produced. The lumber industry and the local sawmills supported many families in the Sandpoint area. On June 10, 1967, Harry married Eleanor in Sagle, Idaho. She would precede him in death in 1990. Harry married June (McGraw) Jeffres on Aug. 22, 1992, in Sandpoint. Harry had many hobbies, he loved his extended family, loved to fish, camping, woodworking and was a home "fix it man." He enjoyed repairing his cars and keeping them spotless inside and out. Harry is survived by his wife, June Robertson; his children, Kelly Dockins, Scott Dockins, Kathy Rainey, Dale Jeffres, Larry Jeffres, Debbie Johnson, and Bruce Ahner. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Sam; and his sister, Gladys. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Dale Coffelt with inurnment in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
