Bio

Lydia B. Evans, beloved mother and Mammaw, age 85 of Garland, TX, passed away October 30, 2005 in Garland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Plese V. Evans, infant son, Richard Vernon, parents, Bennett and Sibbie Capps; brothers, Melvin and Roy; sisters, Mae, Stella, Louetta, and Glenedith. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Myers and Doris Cave and husband Buddy, all of Garland; grandchildren, Sharon Allbright and Greg Myers, both of Richardson, Amy Howard of Rowlett, Tim Cave of Denton, and Keith Cave of Garland; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gertrude Johnson and husband Walter and Nell Sene Haney. She was a faithful member of Big Springs Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Dr. Bob Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
