Green KNOWN CHILDREN: [4] Karen Fred Jr. Infant Daughter Gloria ********************************** “ELROY LEADER TRIBUNE” Elroy, Wisconsin Friday, June 1st, 1956 [Page 1] Mrs. Fred Green passed away on Thursday morning, May 24, 1956 in the Hillsboro Hospital, following a short illness, at the age of 32 years, 2 months, and 8 days. The former Vaida McDaniels, she was the daughter of Joe and Lena McDaniels. She was born in Vernon County on March 16, 1924, where she spent most of her life. She was united in marriage with Fred Green in June 1947. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Fred, and three children: Karen, 9 years; Fred Jr., 8; and Gloria, 4. One baby daughter preceded her in death. Also surviving are her parents and six brothers and six sisters: Mrs. Melvin Raiten (Marian) of Norwalk; Mrs. Walter Sieracki (Margaret, Milwaukee; Mrs. Albert Sieracki (Dorothy), California; Mrs. Scott Dyrud (Josephine), Sauk City; Mrs. Keith Grilley (Frieda), Elroy; and Patricia at home. Glenwood and Denver, of Tomah; James in military service; Darwin, Verlyn, and Kenneth all of Elroy. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Friends called at the Zenner-Haire Funeral home until Saturday morning. Funeral services were held at the Evangelical United Brethren Church on Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. Harold Fischer officiating. Burial was made at the Elroy cemetery. **********************************
