Jack Lovett, of Hodges, Alabama, passed away, Monday at his residence. Mr. Lovett had lived his entire life in this area and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired from U.S. Reduction. The funeral service will be Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at Hodges Church of Christ with burial in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m., until 1:00 p.m. Survivors include children, Linda Raper; Freda (C.D.) McDuffa; grandchildren, Brandon (Kendra) McDuffa, Misty (Shannon) McCarley, Jason Lovett, Tabatha (Kevin) Nichols, Kyle Lovett, Alison Raper, Jamie Raper; great-grandchildren, Bailey McCarley, Insley Lovett, Caleb Lovett, Blaine McDuffa, Dacey McDuffa, Greysen Nichols, Brody McDuffa, Elayna Nichols; sister, Donna Lovett Marquiss; special friend, Wanda Sue Lawler. He was preceded in death by wife, Maeburn Johnson Lovett;son, Randy Lovett; grandchildren, Jared Lovett and Ramanda McDuffa; parents, George Ruben and Agnes Ola Hulsey Lovett; brothers and sisters, James McKinley Lovett, Mary Marie Treadway, Barbara Herndon, Wayne Lovett
