Bio
Cordie Merrell Northcutt Sr., who retired from the Baldwin County School system, died at an area health care facility Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002. He was 91. He was a native of Chilton County and a resident of Rosinton. Northcutt was also a farmer and dairyman for over 50 years in the Rosinton Community. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Florence Walker Northcutt of Rosinton; three daughters, Emily Northcutt Canaan and Peggy Northcutt Bankester, both of Loxley and Martha Sue Northcutt Locklar of Auburn; three sons, Cordie Merrell Northcutt Jr., of Robertsdale; Dewey VanBuren Northcutt of Auburn and Ronald Walker Northcutt of Loxley; 20 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale. The service is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rosinton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Rosinton United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Rosinton United Methodist Church, 26011 County Road 83, Robertsdale, AL 36567.
